Katrina Halili branded as 'unprofessional'

Controversial sultry actress Katrina Halili is “unprofessional,” said singer-actress K Brosas.

Halili reportedly committed to be part of Brosas' birthday show at Zirkoh Greenhills on July 18 but the sexy actress allegedly left the venue when her name was about to be called.

Reports said Halili was upset after fighting with former boyfriend Kris Lawrence.

"Nandoon lang talaga siya sa sasakyan. Sana hindi na siya sumipot… sana hindi na siya pumunta mas matatanggap ko pa… sumama ang loob ko," Brosas said, adding:

"Iyong ginawa niyang yon sa akin… ay senyales ng pagiging unprofessional. Kasi commitment is a commitment at ang masakit is magkaibigan kami," Brosas said.

Brosas admitted that she was told that Halili, who is involved in the sex video scandal, had a nervous breakdown and was not fit to perform after crying nonstop.

"Alam mo naguguluhan ako sa kanya. Iyon lang, ‘sana maayos mo ang buhay mo, te,'" Brosas said.

Halili first hogged the limelight when her named was dragged into the break-up of popular cosmetic surgeons Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho. After repeated denials, she later admitted that she had a brief affair with Kho.

The issue did not end with the admission. Months later, their sex video together had surfaced and spread on the Internet.

The sex video was taken without Halili’s knowledge and consent, prompting her to file a complaint against Kho, Belo and three others.

Eugene Domingo saddened by Kris Aquino's decision

Eugene Domingo was caught by surprise after learning that Queen of Talk Kris Aquino had backed out of their first film project together.

Reports said Domingo, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and Aquino were supposed to be part of an upcoming Star Cinema film with a working title “Ikaw Na Nga.”

Aquino, however, backed out of the project to spend more time with her mother, former president Corazon Aquino, who is battling Stage 4 colon cancer.

"Sayang. Maybe, next film na lang kami magkaka-trabaho. Baka hindi sa film na ito," Domingo told abs-cbnNEWS.com

She added: "Nalulungkot ako sa part na magpa-pasko pa at mayroon silang ganoon. At ito nga hindi niya nagawa iyong dapat sanang project niya."

Kimmy Dora

Meanwhile, Domingo, , who usually plays supporting roles, is excited with her upcoming launching film "Kimmy Dora." She said she treats every shooting day as a big challenge especially since she is portraying two characters in the film.

"Hindi siya madali. Ika nga sa bawat oportunidad ay may responsibilidad," Domingo said.

The cast and the crew are still in the process of completing the film. She said she and the rest of the cast are doing their best to make it worth watching.

"Nakakapagod pero I get my strength from the people who trust na magagawa ito ng maganda," she said.

Considered to be one of the best comediennes in local show business, Domingo confessed that she is still having a hard time doing comedy scenes.

"Siyempre, mahirap pa din kasi iba ang sitwasyon. Tapos may mga pagkakataon pa na ang ka-acting mo ay hayop. So, iyong challenge everyday pataas ng pataas," she said.

Domingo described "Kimmy Dora" as the hardest film she has ever done.

Written by Chris Martinez and under the direction of Bb. Joyce Bernal, "Kimmy Dora" is the maiden project of Piolo Pascual's Spring Films.

Other cast members of “Kimmy Dora” are Dingdong Dantes, Miriam Quiambao, Baron Geisler, Mark Bautista, and Paolo Contis, with special participation of Gabby Eigenmann, Marvin Agustin, Regine Velasquez, Erik Santos and Vhong Navarro.

Rosalinda’s Pilot Episode Disappoints

All high expectations for the newest GMA primetime series Rosalinda went down the drain when it became one of the lowest-rating pilot episodes of a GMA primetime series.

Rosalinda’s pilot episode registered a dismal 26.3% in Mega Manila, the 4th lowest GMA pilot of a primetime series in 5 years. Looking at the brighter side, the Carla Abellana starrer premiered better than All About Eve’s 26.1% last March 9, 2009, Atlantika’s 25.5% last October 3, 2006 and Adik Sa ‘Yo’s 25.4% last June 8, 2009 (Please take note that All My Life is not considered a primetime series).

To add insult to injury, Rosalinda was beaten by it’s rival shows Only You which garnered 27.5% and Tayong Dalawa which registered 31.7%. 24 Oras ruled the primetime race with 32.3% followed by Tayong Dalawa.
