Iya Villania goes Sexy!

Dati nang inalok si Iya na magpose sa mga men's magazine pero ilang beses na rin siyang tumanggi rito pero ngayon, sa Tanduay Calendar ay pumayag siya. Ibig sabihin ba nito ay magpapasexy na siya?

Anyways, hanggang dito pa raw lang muna ang kaya ni Iya at hindi pa siya ready na magpose sa mga men's magazine.

Janno, nagpakita ng milagro sa ‘Party Pilipinas’

Nagulat ang buong staff ng Party Pilipinas nang maagang dumating si Janno Gibbs para makapag-rehearse.
Tuwang-tuwa raw ang lahat dahil parang may milagrong nangyari nang dumating nang maaga ang singer/TV host at ang bilis daw nitong nakapag-rehearse.

Ngayon lang daw ito nangyari kaya sana tuluy-tuloy na raw ito.

Napabalita noon na dumadaan nga raw sa matinding depression si Janno kaya hindi na raw ito lumalabas ng bahay. Lagi lang daw itong nasa kuwarto kaya nahihirapan na rin daw ang mga taga-Party Pilipinas kung darating ba ito o hindi.

Dati kasi ay nali-late lang ito nang dating, pero nitong mga nagdaang araw, hindi na talaga sumisipot.
Pero kakaibang Janno ang dumating kahapon at mukhang tutuparin na raw nito ang pangako niyang magbabago na siya at itutuluy-tuloy na niya ang pagdating nang maaga at magpaka-active sa trabaho.
Isa sa mga malalapit na kaibigan ni Janno ay si Ogie Alcasid at tuwing ini-interview ito tungkol sa kaibigan niya, lagi niyang itong ipinagtatanggol.

Wala naman daw ganung problema si Janno at meron nga raw itong participation sa kasal niya. Naniniwala raw siyang hindi mali-late si Janno sa kanyang kasal.

Sana nga tuluy-tuloy na itong pagbabago ni Janno at hindi na maulit ang dating ugali niya sa trabaho.

Ngayong gabi ang pilot telecast ng Jillian: Namamasko Po!, ang Christmaserye ng GMA 7 na pinagbibidahan ng child star na si Jillian Ward. Mapapanood ang Namamasko Po!, pagkatapos ng Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown.

Magwawakas ang reality show ni Richard Gutierrez sa darating na Biyernes kaya ang Christmaserye ni Jillian ang ipapalit sa mababakanteng timeslot ng Survivor Philippines.

Alfred, balik ABS-CBN!

Matapos mahalal na konsehal ng Quezon City noong May 2010, balik-showbiz si Alfred Vargas dahil malapit nang mag-umpisa ang taping ng bagong TV series na kanyang tatampukan.

Hindi lamang ang showbiz ang babalikan ni Alfred dahil balik-ABS CBN din siya. Nagsimula ang acting career ni Alfred sa Kapamilya network nang maging member siya ng Star Circle Batch 10 noong 2002.

Year 2004 nang lumipat si Alfred sa GMA 7 at anim na taon din ang itinagal niya bilang contract star ng Kapuso network. Nasa gym kahapon si Alfred nang makausap namin dahil pinaghahandaan niya ang muling paglabas sa TV.

Jillian parang si Juday kung umiyak

Kung magpapatuloy ang suwerte ni Jillian Ward, maaring maabot niya ang kasikatan ng orihinal na Trudis Liit na si Vilma Santos. Sasandali pa lamang siyang nag-aartista pero nakikilala na siya.

May komersiyal na rin siya at pelikula. At pang MMFF pa, ang topbilled by Sen. Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto. Sigurado nang mas marami pa ang makakapanood sa kanya.

Isa si Jillian sa mga child stars na talaga namang nakakaantig umarte. Ang galing-galing niyang umiyak. She reminds me of Judy Ann Santos na walang kahirap-hirap magpatulo ng luha.

Kaya naman marami at magaganda ang plano sa kanya ng GMA 7.

Janno, nangakong magbabago na

Sobrang OA naman daw ang mga naglalabasan na balita about Janno Gibbs, sabi ng isang taong malapit sa singer-actor. Pero, hindi naman itinanggi ng taong kausap namin na totoo na dumadaan sa depression ang singer, pero, hindi naman umabot sa point na parang wala na itong pag-asa.

Kuwento ng aming source, totoo raw na madalas na nasa loob lang ng kuwarto si Janno at nanonood ng DVD. Pero, normal na raw ‘yon kay Janno at kaya raw talaga nitong magkulong lang sa kuwarto na manood nang manood ng DVD o matulog lang nang matulog.

Kuwento pa ng aming source, may tampo si Janno sa Party Pilipinas dahil pakiramdam niya ay nababalewala siya, to think na isa siya sa mga original host nito noon pa.

Pero, sey ng source namin, naiintindihan din naman daw ni Janno kung bakit nagiging ganoon na lang din ang exposure niya or minsan, wala siyang production number dahil sa mga naging pagkukulang din niya in the past.

Anyway, sey raw ni Janno, magsisimula na siyang magbago ngayon. In fact, sa Sunday raw sa Party Pilipinas ay aapir na ito.

"Bata Pa si Sabel", ngayong December na!

Isa na namang dekalibreng teleserye ang malapit nang ipalabas sa ABS-CBN. Ito ay ang "Bata Pa si Sabel" na remake ng launching movie ni Snooky Serna.

Bida sa remake na ito si Jesse Mendiola kasama sina AJ Perez and Josef Marco. Inyong kagigiliwan sa kwento nito si Sabel sa kanyang pamumukadkad na masisilayan ninyo ngayong Disyembre.

Walking doll ang role ni Jillian Ward sa Jillian: Namamasko Po at ang parents daw niya ang nagturo ng doll moves na ginawa niya sa presscon. Nahihirapan daw siya, pero konti lang dahil ang importante, magawa niya ang eksena niya nang tama at matuwa ang viewers.

Christmas Special ni Charice sa GMA7, Kanselado na talaga!

Una naming naireport namin kanina, postponed ang Christmas Special ni Charice sa GMA7 na sinasabing nagkaroon ng problema."Emergency situation" ang term na ginamit ng kanyang nanay kahapon sa post niya.

Naging malinaw ito dahil sa report ng Tweetbiz kanina lang na hindi makakauwi si Charice sa Pinas this weekend dahil sa kanyang pagkakasakit. Ayon sa doktor niya, "She is suffering from dehydration caused by a recent stomach flu."

Sa November 7 na sana gagawin ang taping nito na idederehe ni Direk Louie Ignacio. Since hindi na tuloy ang Christmas Special na ito ni Charice, marami ang nag-aasam ng isang All-Star Christmas Special featuring GMA artists. Why not, 'di ba?

Charice' Christmas Special sa GMA7, Cancelled na?

Nakatakdang magtape si Charice sana ng kanyang Christmas Special sa GMA7 kung saan direktor si Direk Louie Ignacio ngayong November 27, 2010.

Pero ano itong natanggap kong balita na cancelled na raw ito at ang reason na ipinaabot sa amin ay "emergency situation". Kung totoo man ito, ano namang emergency ito?

Sayang naman kung nagkataon dahil ito ang magiging kauna-unahang Special Concert niya dito sa Pilipinas na ipapalabas sa TV.

Hanggang ngayon ay wala pa ring confirmation mula sa GMA or kahit na sinong tauhan na pwedeng magconfirm ng report na ito. Pero nagtweet na raw ang Mommy Racquel ni Charice na hindi na tuloy ang Christmas special na ito. Ito ang tweet niya:

Kahit kilalang Kapamilya, Charice sa Kapuso magpa-Pasko

Marami ang nagulat sa balitang gagawa ng Christmas special sa GMA 7 si Charice dahil super identified ang singer sa ABS-CBN. Walang exclusive contract si Charice sa Kapamilya, kaya naging madali ang negosasyon ng network sa kampo nito.

May pamagat na Charice : Home for Christmas to be directed by Louie Ignacio. Sa Saturday, Nov. 27, sa Studio 6 ang taping at habang tina-type namin ang kolum na ito, inaayos pa ang mga guests sa kanyang special.

Nalito lang kami sa airing date na sinabi sa Dec. 12 ito ipalalabas sa GMA 7, natatandaan namin, sa nasabi ring petsa ang airing ng by invitation concert ni Ely Buendia na Ely Buendia XL-Xtra Live at 40.

GMA makes big push into growing OFW market

Network brings GMA Life TV to Canada, UK

Broadcast giant GMA Network Inc. is eyeing a bigger share of the overseas Filipino workers (OFW) market with the recent launch of one of its international channels in two major territories abroad.

In a statement, the company also announced plans to bring GMA Life TV, the company’s second international channel, to two other American states with large concentrations of OFWs before the year ends.

“Ably complementing the programming of GMA’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV features top-notch news and public affairs, entertainment and lifestyle programs catered for Pinoys all over the world,” the company said in a statement.

Two launches—both within the month’s first week—took place this November. On November 4, GMA Life TV was launched in Canada via MTS All-Stream. Meanwhile, chosen GMA Life TV programs began airing in the United Kingdom since November 7 via Pinoy Europe IPTV. This was made possible by Orbit Showtime Network in partnership with Infinity IPTV, the company said.

“Just before the year ends, GMA Life TV will continue to spice up the lives of Filipinos in the United States as it penetrates New York and Illinois,” the statement read.

The company said GMA Life TV will soon air with the help of Time Warner in New York and Comcast in Chicago on December 1 and 16, respectively. It will also be launched in Houston, Texas, by early next year via Comcast.

GMA Life TV had about 126,000 subscribers at the end of the third quarter, the network said.

The number of subscribers began to substantially increase when the channel was launched during the early part of this year in other areas such as Florida (via Brighhouse Tampa), Texas (via En-Touch), Hong Kong (via PCCW) and Central California (via Comcast).

“The increase of GMA Life TV subscribers can be attributed to the channel’s superior programming and the way it effectively responds to the under-served content needs of our carriers,” vice president and GMA International operations head Joseph Francia said.

Richard backs out of Kapuso show

Sa December 4 na ang pilot ng reality Christmas show ng GMA-7 na Puso ng Pasko, pero totoo kaya ang balitang wala pang mahanap na male host at maka-kasama ng Kapuso aktres na magsisilbing female co-host ng reality show?

May nangyari kung bakit hindi natuloy maging host ang sabi’y first choice to host the show na sina Iya Villania at Drew Arellano at sa sobrang salimuot, ’di namin alam kung paano isusulat.

Anyway, ang unang tsika, si Richard Gutierrez ang male co-host ng Puso ng Pasko, nag-back-out lang daw ito dahil pinaghahandaan na ang Captain Barbell at ang kanyang Valentine movie.

May nagkuwento namang hindi host, kundi inimbita si Richard kapareha si Solenn Heussaff na sumali sa challenges, pero hindi rin pumuwede for the same reason.

Kaabang-abang ang Puso ng Pasko dahil sa kakaibang challenges na paglalabanan ng 12 pairs ng Kapuso primetime stars para sa big time prizes sa ngalan ng Serbisyong Totoo.

Ang objective ng show ay makatulong sa nangangailangan at deserving families sa Pasko.

Kara wins TOWNS award

Kara David is an embodiment of the Serbisyong Totoo slogan of GMA 7. She excels both in her career as a reporter and documentarist and in her philanthropic endeavors.

Her professional and personal achievements have not escaped the notice of the Ten Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS) Award as she has been named as one of the recipients of the TOWNS this year.

Kara shares she did not expect to be honored with the award. She recounts being very nervous in front of the Chief Justice during the 15-minute panel interview that it came as a surprise to her when she received notice three days later that she has been named one of the winners.

“Special sa akin ang award na ito kasi hindi lang siya pagpapahalaga sa mga obrang nililikha natin sa I-Witness pagpapahalaga rin ito sa impact na naidulot natin kahit papaano sa mga komunidad na ating na-feature,” Kara said.

Her eye-opening yet often heart-warming documentaries on the show reveal the depth of insight and understanding Kara has on her subjects. She does not merely give voice to the unheard; she provides a meaningful awareness of the story through her writing. Her numerous local and international awards are more than enough to show her level of excellence in her craft.

“I always say that the best award any journalist can ever get is when we are able to effect change in the communities that we feature. Ang maging tulay sa mga taong nais tumulong at mga sektor na dapat tulungan,” said Kara.

Kara’s stories have touched hearts and lives by inspiring people to act. Her work does not stop once the cameras stop rolling. Her dedication has inspired her to put up Project Malasakit, a foundation that sends impoverished Filipino children to school.

“Sa dami ng mga bundok na inaakyat namin sa I-Witness, hindi matanggap ng puso ko na iwanan na lang sila pagkatapos namin magawa ang dokumentaryo. Thus, we give them the gift of malasakit. Most of our scholars come from the children we feature on the show,” Kara shared.

As I-Witness celebrates its 11th year this month, Kara remakes a classic I-Witness docu titled Koreksyonal by Jessica Soho and provides a new perspective into the life of women behind bars and their children born inside the prison.

I-Witness airs Monday nights after Saksi.

Lahat nang nakakaalam na lilipat sa GMA 7 si Iya Villania ay nagtatanong kung ano ang nangyari at bigla itong nag-renew ng kontrata sa ABS-CBN. Ang tsika sa amin, ayos na ang lahat at magkakapirmahan na at iwe-welcome na dapat si Iya sa Party Pilipinas last Sunday.

Patunay pa na muntik nang bumalik sa GMA7 si Iya ay ang sinabi ng BF nitong si Drew Arellano nang mag-guest sa Tonight with Arnold ni Arnold Clavio sa Q Channel 11 habang may phone-patch interview ang broadcaster sa aktres. Biniro kasi ni Drew ang GF na malapit na silang magkasama sa GMA 7 at sinaway siya ni Iya.

May nakahanda na ring show si Iya sa Kapuso at makakasama pa niya dapat si Drew, pero dahil hindi siya natuloy lumipat o bumalik, sa iba na ibinigay ang pagho-host ng show. Hindi lang namin alam kung ire-retain si Drew kahit hindi na si Iya ang host.

May kinalaman daw sa kontrata ni Iya noong nasa GMA 7 pa siya ang rason kung bakit hindi na siya natuloy bumalik sa Kapuso at sa halip, nag-renew ng contract sa Kapamilya.
